On November 4th and 5th 2019, University of Twente will host the first topical conference on cryogenic heat and mass transfer.
The aim of this conference is to bring together scientists and engineers of various disciplines connected to cryogenics, as well as connecting academia and industry in order to jointly address fundamental challenges in the heat and mass transfer at low temperatures. We aim at creating an interesting dialogue between these different communities and to identify tools and methods that can be adapted from one community to the other for solving problems in cryogenic heat and mass transfer. The topics will include boiling, evaporation, melting and solidification, cryogenic workflow, cryogenics in life sciences, oscillating flow, among others as well as experimental techniques and challenges.
The program will be shaped to stimulate group discussions and informal exchanges. Dedicated session for young researchers will be part of the program. Presentations are requested for both oral and poster sessions.
We do not plan to have Proceedings. But we will make slides which define and summarize the main issues available to all participants.
A limited number of hotel rooms at a discounted price have been made available and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
We look forward to welcoming you in Enschede, The Netherlands!
