This year is the 200th centenary of the birth of one of the foremost scientists and engineers of the 19th Century, Lord Kelvin.

There are a number of events being organised to mark his centenary. The University of Glasgow events can be found detailed at University of Glasgow - Explore - Lord Kelvin 200.
