BCGA are feeling the love and have extended the early bird deal until 14 February for this years conference.
Given the removal of all Plan B measures last week by the UK Government, BCGA felt it appropriate to extend this year’s early bird deal for our 2022 Conference. Safety of conference attendees is paramount, and as such, we have published our Covid policy below, to give delegates clarity ahead of our first in person conference since 2019.

BCGA COVID Policy
The safety of conference attendees is paramount to BCGA. As such, it is our duty to ensure that all delegates feel as safe at the event as possible. We therefore have the current requirements in place to access the event:
• ALL delegates, including those fully vaccinated and those who have previously had COVID-19 are required to take a lateral flow test no more than 48 hours before the BCGA Annual Conference.
• You can order lateral flow tests here and register your negative result here, you will then receive a text from the NHS which you will be asked to show upon entry to the Conference.
• If you do not have proof, you will be refused entry.
• The venue does not have testing capacity, so please test before you arrive.
• Please do not attend the event if you or someone else in your household has tested positive for Covid within the previous 10 days of the event.
• If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home.
In conjunction with Marriott Worsley Park, we are monitoring the situation regarding coronavirus. As we get closer to the event and any specific regulatory requirements for mass gatherings are issued by the UK government we will keep you informed around the measures we have implemented for this year’s conference.
We are ready to implement any official requirements along with any additional precautions that we feel necessary and are working closely with Marriott and our contractors to make sure we follow these properly when any rules are published. Our priority is to ensure that the BCGA Conference is a secure and safe experience for all our valued delegates, staff and contractors.
