The British Cryogenics Council are pleased to announce that registration is now open for their forthcoming Introductory Cryogenics Course. Registration is via Eventbrite at the link above. Please note that the course will be in-person; no remote connection will be possible.
Ticket Prices:
BCC Members - £170
Non Members - £220
The course is an introduction for those new to low temperature systems, starting from a basic level and building up over two days. The material is aimed primarily at graduate engineers, new postgraduate students, and technicians. Lectures will cover a history and overview of cryogenics, properties of matter at low temperatures, heat transfer, cryostat design, user safety, design safety, and mechanical coolers.
