British Cryogenic Cluster

Since 2010, BCC is an abbreviation which could also have applied to The British Cryogenic Cluster. The Cluster initative with the full support of The Council, gave a new dynamic to the British Cryogenic Community. Quarterly working groups meet to address marketing, technical and educational matters of mutual interest. The Annual Summit brings senior figures in the community together, and ‘Cluster Day’ at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory is a popular gathering, combining seminar, trade-show and lab visit for an international audience. The monthly ‘B Cryo’ e-news-letter complements the more established quarterly Low Temperature News with a large, international distribution, and The British Cryogenic Cluster Group on LinkedIn provides a lively, global forum. The Cryogenic Cluster is now fully synchronised with the UK Corporate Membership of the Council [which also welcomes candidates for individual and international membership] providing a hub and a showcase for the immense concentration of cryogenic expertise which Britain can bring to bear.
